Ara Tonoyan
I am Ara Tonoyan, researcher at the Institute for Physical Research of the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia. I have done my joint PhD studies in 2013-2016 in Armenia under supervision of Prof. D. Sarkisyan and in the Laboratoire interdisciplinaire Carnot de Bourgogne Dijon, France under supervision of prof. C. Leroy. Occasionally I have worked at the Ben-Gurion University of Negev, Be'er Sheva, in the group of prof. Ron Folman (2011), at the Mainz University, in the group of prof. Dmitry Budker.
I have done a two-year postdoc at Michal Zawada's group and worked on optical atomic clocks.
Currently I am working on atomic physics, atomic spetroscopy in magnetic fields, magnetometry. My passion is the work on atomic clocks and Bose-Einstein condensates.My complete CV is available here
